Special Olympics brings community based sports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.


People with intellectual disabilities all over the world are underestimated, overlooked and isolated by society. Special Olympics makes a vital difference by helping our athletes to connect with friends, to become healthy and confident and to demonstrate courage in showing the world what they can do. We are in 170 countries helping 4.4 million athletes transform their lives and the world around them.

Summary

This is a request for donations to support this cause. This is not a financial investment and there is no financial return.

30% of the sums raised will be allocated to Special Olympics Isreal.

70% of the sums raised will be allocated to Special Olympics.

Special Olympics Isreal

Special Olympics Israel was founded in 1985 and now reaches 6500 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, representing all the communities and cultures of Israel. This year 40 athletes from Team Israel will take their place on the world stage with 7,000 other athletes from all over the world at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles from July 25- August 2, 2015.
