Online Radio Broadcasting is a platform for the development, expansion and future of web based radio. It powers ORB Radio 1 - an online radio station and broadcasting service provider dedicated to giving others the opportunity to experience the power of online radio and broadcast their views and thoughts.
Summary
For the first time a fully integrated online communications tool will be created allowing charities and other non-profit organisations to broadcast their thoughts and ideas and exchange information through the most commonly used and powerful form of human communication - speech. This communication tool is Voxxing.
The VOXXING platform will have all the features and capabilities of professional radio stations but will be simple to use and extremely cost effective. For the very first time it will give anyone with an internet connected device the ability to run their own online radio station and enable then to have their voice and message heard simply and easily. We know through experience that there is a huge and growing desire for charities to have access to a comprehensive communications platform and VOXXING has been designed to fulfill that need.
Social Impact
ORB aims to ensure that a range of organisations from charities and other not for profit institutions, local and regional groups and commercial business will have access to, or be provided with, the equipment and training they need to have their voice and message heard on millions of internet enabled computers, tablets and mobile phones.
ORB wants to address the issues of youth around the world, and give them a voice directly. We can subsequently link up those people around the world who are trying to make a difference, with the idea of assisting them to become more effective. People trying to help can often be a voice in the wilderness – ORB and VoxBox will give them a base and a foundation – and help them out of that wilderness, and in doing so “raise the world’s awareness.”
Eventually these efforts can bring solutions – “hope through ideas” – for example, better support, better schools, better food, better hygiene.
